Puregas (Pty) Ltd was established in 1968 and is recognised as Southern Africa's leading supplier of purified and blended gaseous hydrocarbon propellant, foam blowing products and as an emerging supplier of high quality speciality gases and gas equipment.

Our company's focus is on quality and customer service. We have a passion for the safety of our employees and customers, and a determination to protect the environment in all our undertakings. We underpin this through an ISO 9001:2008 quality listing and a well tried and tested commitment of service to our customers in all our areas of business.

Our customers are well known producers of personal care, domestic and industrial aerosol products, as well as blown packaging. More recently, the users of ultra high purity gases, certified and traceable complex calibration gas blends and high quality gas equipment used in specialised research, analytical, medical and quality control laboratories. We offer a complete range of products to cover virtually any application in these areas.

Puregas' hydrocarbon storage, purification and blending processes are conveniently located in Alrode, south of Johannesburg. Our products are distributed nationally in our modern and company owned road tanker fleet, cylinder distribtion vehicles and internationally, in appropriate bulk isotainers.

We are very proud of our national distributor status in South Africa for the well renowned US based speciality gases company Matheson TriGas, with whom we work in close partnership to deliver speciality gas solutions.
